This is the second tape in the five tapes series "Hát Cho Quê Hương Việt Nam", loosely translated as "Songs for Viet Nam". The tone of this tape is somewhat softer than the first tape. It is still about the war but it also contains some love songs such as "Tình Sầu", "Ru Em Từng Ngón Xuân Nồng". However love in Trịnh Công Sơn's songs is not about sweet romance. There is always a tinge of sadness even in his love songs.
